Gimme a "What What!"

...No seriously...WHAT? More like a "where am I"!!??  Last week was cu-raz-e! Saturday we left for Iowa, dreading the 9 hour drive the whole time. But in the end it was all worth it to see my sweet little nephew Ethan Samuel Alexander Podrazik. I know, it's a mouthful, we'll just call him Lil' Sam. ;) Ok, ok, we won't. Ethan is just perfect.

As a matter of fact, I haven't seen a baby this perfect in about 7 1/2 years!! :) Benjamin is an extremely proud cousin.  Though he hasn't met little E yet, officially.  Unfortunately he had some issues during birth and spent his hospital days in the NICU, so Ben wasn't able to hold him or really see him very well.  He came home Friday and is doing great. He is, what some might call, a chunk. At 9lbs 10oz, he is a VERY healthy boy. 

As for Benjamin...he is great as ever.  He was SO well behaved at the hospital, despite just sitting and waiting and playing his cheatin' uncle Kenny at Go Fish.  He was awesome in the car, and everywhere else we went despite being tired, bored and couped up in a kid-UNFRIENDLY environment at the hospital. I'm very proud of him. 

On an end note, on my way home, Ben and I stopped in KS to spend time with family and to say goodbye to our Grandma Great.  Another place Ben did great.  Finally home...and of course no rest for the weary.  Monday started with Camp Noggin, a camp for autistic children then swimming lessons in the evening.  Phew.  This momma is tired!
